Mary Bridge Children's Patient Ambassador Program

The Mary Bridge Children's Patient Ambassador Program was born out of a consistent need for stories, media contacts and guests for special events. As these requests would come in, there would often be a scramble to connect with a patient or a family who would be willing and available. Creating and formalizing this program allowed for myself and my team to quickly and successfully fulfill these requests. It also allowed Mary Bridge Children's Foundation to highlight the incredibly brave patients and critical donor-supported services Mary Bridge provides. 

After establishing the program, I worked yearly with Mary Bridge Children's providers and staff to identify potential ambassadors, interviewed the families, wrote their stories and added them to a distribution list that would be used to follow up on any requests. 

These ambassadors have been one of the biggest highlights of my career so far.
